The Hobbit - Armies of the Third Age: Building a Second City

How do you bridge the time between the releases of Peter Jackson’s three Hobbit movies? By playing the free-to-play browser game, obviously. The online fantasy game that has well over one million registered users has received a nifty content update to add even more tactical variety to the game.
Developers Kabam have added second cities to The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age which will allow players to collect more resources, train troops, construct advanced buildings and research new technologies. In order to build a second city, you need to either purchase or win a founder’s stone and find a Wasteland tile in the region view of the game. Wasteland tiles are completely empty, infertile terrains.
With a second city, players can transfer goods between cities, build an army double as fast (two cities mean two training grounds), and train the brand new sentinel class troops. These are heavily armored soldiers who can take a beating to protect the rest of your troops, allowing for new battle strategies. Sentinels have more hit points than any other troop in The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age.
